Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree...
Steve and I continued our tradition of cutting down our Christmas Tree. We went the day after one of our many huge snowfalls and had a hard time looking at all the trees that were covered in snow. Thankfully we found our perfect tree!

SANTA!!!
As we were cutting down our tree, we had a surprise visit from SANTA. Grace, who doesn't cry often, cried the moment she sat on Santa's lap. Only if she knew that Santa was going to bring her some amazing toys. But thankfully Steve was able to calm Gracie down and we were able to get a nice family photo with Santa.

Happy Birthday Grandma Kathy!
We were able to celebrate Gracie's first Christmas with both sides of the family. On Christmas Eve and Christmas morning we were with the Reason family. Gracie was blessed with some wonderful gifts, but of course some of her favorite things were the cardboard boxes to pound on and the ribbon on gifts. It's amazing to experience the wonder of Christmas through the eyes of a little one.

Our niece, Olivia, of course LOVES Christmas, but I think she enjoyed spending Christmas with her cousin Gracie. Olivia helped Gracie open up all her presents. The girls were so exhausted after opening gifts that the only way we could get a picture of them was for Olivia to also chew/suck on a toy that Gracie had - so needless this picture is the best one we got.

Finally, we had a wonderful time SLEDDING for the first time at Grandma and Grandpa Smith's house. We lasted about 10 minutes before I decided Gracie was too cold (or maybe I was too cold) to continue sledding and climbing up the hill that had 3 1/2 feet of snow wore us out fast. But of course, Gracie loved sledding and she thought it was great that Captain chased her and Steve down the hill on every run.
