Easter Blessings...

This Easter was full of many wonderful blessings. The greatest of these blessings was hearing the message once again that Jesus ascended into heaven on that glorious Easter morning to save us all from our sins. The rest of the day was full of pure joy watching Gracie celebrate the other Easter traditions: spending time with family, an egg hunt and an Easter basket.
Life is so exciting through the eyes of a young child!

We spent the afternoon at my parents house where there were probably 30 plastic Easter eggs full of wonderful goodies for Gracie. She loved it since most of them would make noises when she would shake them. As she picked up an egg she put it in her Easter basket and then carried her basket around with her to her next find. I'm writing this blog about 2 weeks after Easter and since Gracie enjoyed carrying her Easter basket around so much - I haven't put it away yet - she still loves to walk around with it!

A beautiful Easter bonnet.

Gracie's lastest expression is one of awe. I've been trying to capture her expression for quite awhile and so far this was is fairly good. Whenever she hears something that is interesting to her she will make this 'oh' shape to her mouth and has an expression that says "Wow, what was that?!"

Gracie has made the switch over to a full time walker now and she is practicing her running sprints with dad. Steve's already training her for those quick sprints around the bases and short distance running in track. She loves it as she giggles the entire time!
